Self Help Treatments to Relieve Dry Eye Problems

Symptoms of dry eye syndrome are mild for most people although can lead to painful complications. Self-help dry eye treatments can do much to relieve the irritation.

Dry eye syndrome (also known as keratoconjunctivitis sicca or simply “dry eyes”) is a common condition that occurs when the eyes do not make or retain enough tears. This can result in eyes drying out, becoming irritated and even redness and swelling.

Dry eye treatments range from lubricating eye drops, warm compresses and eye cleaning pads to solutions to help with  blepharitis. Please do not hesitate to contact us to speak to one or our team of opticians (optometrists) for advice or assistance.
